Enon Pee-Wee Football & Cheerleading Organization is a non-profit group whose goal is to provide the youth of our area with a positive and safe football and/or cheerleading experience that develops their individual skills, physical fitness, competitive spirit, sportsmanship, and ability to contribute as part of a team.
Attention Enon Peewee Football and Cheer Parents and Athletes:
It is with deep regret that we announce the decision to cancel our 2020 season.
First and foremost, we did not have enough children sign up to successfully operate a program, even with a 10-day extension of our registration period. We can speculate that the lack of sign ups are due to the COVID-19 pandemic and these times of uncertainty. We have discussed these issues with many other football programs and other sports programs and they are facing the same dilemmas.
In addition, the Board has taken the health and safety of our children in to account and feel we can not feasibly meet all the health and safety criteria handed down by Governor Dewine, the CDC and the Clark County Combined Health District. In the next 30 days, Governor Dewine will make an announcement regarding fall sports. Right now, we simply do not have enough additional information or volunteers to meet current guidelines.
Finally, we wanted to make sure there would be enough funds to be able to have future successful seasons. All of our fundraising has been cut for 2020. No Monte Carlo, no car wash, no concessions and no spirit shop.
Please understand, we share your disappointment in this decision but we have to look at the big picture and the continuity of the program.
We would like to thank those that have supported our program and had registered their children and volunteered their commitment to coach. We hope that you will join us again in 2021.
With that being said, those who have registered by July 10, 2020 will receive a 100% refund.
